In 2015, they were more than a million seeking shelter in Europe, forced out of their homes by conflict and persecution; mostly from Syria and Irak, but also from the Horn of Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan.For this open-air exhibition in the center of the city, the AFP photographers tell their journey, and sometimes their woes.
